ShopStevie Adorable Peplum (Collab)

White Denim / Similar // Steve Madden Heels // Kate Spade Handbag

You guys – the minute I laid my eyes on ShopStevie, I fell in love (Sorry Lane)! They have the cutest, trendiest clothes for a reasonable price. How it works is anyone can sign up to be a rep for these super cute clothes, so I had the opportunity to collaborate with Stacey, a rep for ShopStevie, and she is based out of Utah. Once I was able to speak with Stacey and learn all about this company, I became obsessed. If anyone loves their clothes just as much as me, you have the opportunity to host your own ShopStevie party – just get in touch with Stacey (I linked her store website above) and see how it works. Her instagram is also –> here.

Now for the peplum top, I received a Small and it fits perfectly, I love how it is super flowy and it has the small ruffles on the neckline and your wrists. Unfortunately, this blouse is sold out on her website – she actually had to order more after I posted this top on Instagram the first time. It is the perfect color for spring and you can wear it to work or out on date night. It is versatile either way.

So for the good news – Stacey was so sweet she wanted to offer all of you 15% off with the discount code FORTHELOVEOFCOFFEY. I just checked her website, and there are super hot items right now that usually go super fast. So don’t wait, shop now!

** Thank you Stacey with ShopStevie for sponsoring this post!!**

OTK Boots

OTK Boots | Denim | Blouse | Kate Spade Handbag | Bangles

Hi everyone! The brand of these boots are Chinese Laundry, and I found them at Burlington Coat Factory for only $40. I knew I had to purchase them, because I have been on the look for forever. I also went to Nordstrom Rack before to check them out and they had REALLY cute OTK boots in light brown & grey, but I feel like they were all too long. I have short legs so I was very picky! 🙂

The fit, the color, and the price of this ASTR blouse had me IN LOVE (for the second time ;)). I love finding a gorgeous, thin top that I can wear all year around here in Florida since it gets so hot. The details on this blouse with the clasp and the strings you can tie gives it a completely different look if that is how you decide to wear it.

On the reals, I missed you guys! I am so happy to be back blogging and being interactive on  my Instagram page. Make sure you are following me on there – @kristinncoffey. Keep a look out on a lot of exciting posts and collaborations I have coming up. 🙂

Welcome back to For the Love of Coffey! I have to admit, it has been a fun and stress-free December not having to blog during this SUPER crazy, busy month. I thought about doing a post here & there, but I literally had no time at all. So I decided to take the entire month off to focus on my finals, graduate from college, and spend time with family and friends during the holidays all while working a full-time job. Talk about exhausting this month has been, but every bit of it has been amazing. So here’s a recap on 2016 – and some 2017 resolutions…

Wow! What a year it has been, 2016 definitely felt like the fastest year of my life. I feel like I was just writing my blog post { 2 0 1 6 } just the other week. Personally, this year was a great year for me, there’s been a couple ups and downs, but whose life is perfect?! Let’s take a walk down memory lane…

  • Rang in 2016 for the 7th time with the love of my life
  • Traveled to the beautiful city of Charleston with one of our favorite couples
  • Traveled to New York City for 8 days with 16 random girls from the University of Florida, who ended up becoming more like a fam… they are absolutely wonderful and I am so happy I had the opportunity to meet all of them (Oh and we got to touch the New Years Eve Ball- good luck maybe?!)
  • Turned the big “2-4”, can I just stay this age forever?! ahhhhh
  • Traveled to Los Angeles with my lover
  • Loving every minute of being engaged and wedding planning
  • Found the PERFECT venue for our wedding
  • Found the PERFECT dress for our wedding
  • Lots of pool/lake parties
  • Traveling to Palm Coast and vacationing at our venue for 4 days
  • Taking my last final ever
  • Bringing in 2017 with my fiancé ❤

Just a few noteworthy things that happened this year that made it the best year yet… I can’t wait to hit 100% on the wedding planning, but I have to admit I am enjoying every second of it. I am so happy now I get to focus mainly on it now that school is done. For. Good. Some resolutions for 2017 because, you know, the new year wouldn’t be right if we didn’t have any…

  • Staying calm while wedding planning & while getting closer to the wedding
  • Exercise more, eat healthy (less pizza & cookies, y’all)
  • Take care of my body, you only get one
  • Blog, blog, blog – I have so so so many ideas for you all, I can’t wait to share!!
  • Enjoy being engaged and don’t rush anything
  • Travel, travel, travel – we are still up in the air about our honeymoon so any recommendations would be great
  • SHOP less, SAVE more – words a blogger never want to hear
  • Be the best person I can be to everyone around me because no one is guaranteed tomorrow
Photo Compliments to Amy Renee Photography

SO CHEERS TO 2017!!!

May all your blessings be answered and dreams come true ❤ I am so so so excited to see what this year has in store for everyone.

Weekend Getaway + Adorable Tassel Dress

Hi y’all,

If you have been following my Instagram (@kristinncoffey) or Snapchat (coffeykristin), you might have realized I was on a mini weekend getaway the last couple of days. My fiancé and I, along with my parents, stayed at the resort we are getting married next October to check it out and see how amazing it will be. We all came to the conclusion that it is definitely going to be one for the books. For anyone who is interested, the resort is Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Florida. It is perfect for a couples getaway or a family vacation, either way it is a beautiful place with lots to do!

I think I am more obsessed with the Palms than anything! They just make everything look so tropical and blissful. Obsessed is an understatement.

On the last day we were there, I wore a really cute, striped, tassel dress that I got from Shein. I picked out a size small and it fit perfectly. I am pretty short standing at 5’2, and I think it was the perfect length reaching to mid thigh. I collaborated with Shein and picked this dress specifically for this vacation, because I knew it would be a perfect match while sipping my Island drinks and hanging out with the family. Here in Florida, we had cooler weather hit us this weekend, I’m talking like 65-70 degrees and this dress was perfect since the material is a little thicker than a flowy, thin beach dress. I had a little fun with these photos, my family and I were playing putt-putt and thought it would be a fun little twist to take the photos then… the guys weren’t too thrilled, but hey! that’s what they get when they’re the dad of and marrying a blogger. #sorrynotsorry 😛 This is most likely my last summer look for a while, because I am too obsessed with Fall everything right now!!

Higher End vs Lower End

Helllllllllo everyone!

I’m sure everyone (like me) in Florida is up and preparing for this hell of a storm, aka Hurricane Matthew. I am just so thrilled, can’t you tell?! If we are being honest here, I am deathly afraid of storms like this, I don’t know why but my anxiety goes through the roof. 😛

Anyways, I did my first collage, and it was so much fun!! I put together some of my favorite products from booties & handbags to lipgloss. Some of my favorite high end products (some I do not have, because they are too expensive and I don’t have those funds…. yet! LOL) but most of the lower end products I do have because I can afford them. The title to this blog post was a little tricky because in no means do I mean these products are “lower end” but they are definitely more inexpensive and JUST AS NICE!! Just wanted to clarify that..

Polka Dot Love + Another SheIn Review

Happy Hump Day, everyone! Hope you all are having a good week so far.

I am so excited for this outfit, I’m usually all about stripes, but SheIn sent me this polka dotted blouse, and I absolutely love it. The quality of it is great and the material is on the thinner side, so you can still wear it for a night during the summer or for a warmer Fall day. I paired them with my black destroyed jeans that I just got, but you could wear the blouse with a nice pair of leggings, or dark jeans with black knee high boots or short black booties.. the options are endless loves!

I have to admit, I have gotten a lot of comments about SheIn saying their website is sketchy, don’t order anything, it’s a scam, etc. While that may be true for some products, the products that I have personally bought and received from their PR department are always in perfect condition. The MOST IMPORTANT thing with ANY company especially for clothes is to READ THE REVIEWS! If I like a product that has no reviews or negative reviews, I do not purchase it. If the reviews say the fit is weird or it runs super small or large, I usually don’t purchase it because I don’t want to waste money on something that may or may not fit. I know when the company used to be SheInside, the clothes were more on the negative side, but since the company has received more sales, popularity, reaching out to bloggers and whatnot, the products are better with quality. This is my honest review, and I was not paid to say this.

White on White

I know Labor Day and Fall are quickly approaching, but I am still stuck on summer right now. It is so dang hot in Florida, that when it hits 60 degrees, we think it’s sweater weather.. so I think we can all agree it’s a slow process transitioning into Fall. I’m trying to get all my white in before Labor Day shows its face. Have you guys heard of that “rule”? Well some people follow it, some people don’t. 😛

I’m loving the white on white look, especially during these sun kissed summer days. I love pairing the outfit with a black/brown/cheetah/colorful shoe so it will make it POP! I also threw on a flannel in the outfit I’m about to show you so it would have more color.

P.S. Keep a lookout for a post coming later this week on the opening of our favorite store, Marshall’s in Gainesville, FL!!

Guest Blogger ft. Tanner Mann

Hi beauties, I feel like this has been a Monday from, you know where. I am so not used to publishing on Monday’s so I have felt like I have been running around/hurrying home from work so I have time to perfect everything before I hit “publish”.

Nevertheless, I have been very excited to post this particular blog post since last week because I have collaborated with my soul sister/fellow blogger, Tanner Mann, author of “The Life of a Womann”. We came up with a set of “interview-like” questions to ask each other, so we could express ourselves and show you all why we love blogging, how we got started, etc. Below are Tanner’s answers — Also, don’t forget to head on over to The Life of a Womann to check out my answers!

Of course when { T W O } bloggers get together, we can’t go without a little photo sesh… even in the rain 😛

  1. Why did you start blogging?
  • I have always had such a love for beauty, makeup, and fashion. In high school I started watching makeup tutorials and completely fell in love with the media side of beauty.  Starting a blog was an outlet for my creativity and inspiration.  I love being able to share a new product that I just can’t live without or finding a deal that I know everyone else would enjoy!

  1. How much time do you spend on your blog a week?
  • Believe it or not, constructing a blog post is much more than sitting down and writing the words that come to mind. I have a journal that is specific to planning blog ideas. Once I have decided on the subject, I take the time to pick out an outfit for blog/Instagram pictures. Getting ready for pictures takes up the most time—and then finding a location and taking the pictures.  Sometimes a post even involves a bit of research.  With all of these aspects of blogging involved, I spend approximately 10-15 hours per week.

  1. What blogger/vlogger inspires you the most?
  • When it comes to makeup I am most inspired by Jaclyn Hill. She shares all of her beauty tips and tricks on her YouTube channel and blog.  When I am in a rut and just need a new idea, I always look to this beautiful soul to get my creative juices flowing.
  • My fashion icon is Desi Perkins! If you aren’t following her on all social media platforms, you should be. She is a makeup/fashion vlogger from L.A, who always pushes the limits and slays every outfit.

  1. Is blogging a profession for you or just a hobby?
  • As of now, blogging is a hobby. I work a full time job during the week and spend most of my time on the weekends blogging, I would love to one day dedicate all of my time to blogging and have the opportunity to make a career of it.

  1. What is the most challenging part about blogging?
  • Coming into blogging I thought this would be an extremely fun and easy process. I learned how wrong I was very quickly.  I think the most challenging part is Instagram/taking pictures.  Because I work a full time job, I don’t get to slay a stiletto heel every day, so I try to take most of my pictures on the weekend to last throughout the week.  When taking pictures, you have to find the perfect background, get the perfect angle, and find the perfect edit.  I am still training my husband on the angles.

  1. How did you come up with your blog name?
  • When choosing the name of my blog, I wanted something fun and chic that still incorporated my personality and what my platform was. Since most of my content is geared towards women and my last name is Mann, “The Life of a Womann” fit the part perfectly.  This actually came to me out of nowhere…that is when you know it is the one.

  1. In the future, where do you see yourself in the blogging world?
  • My goal and dream is to start a beauty YouTube channel and start producing vlogs, while still blogging weekly. I love everything about the blogging/vlogging world and would love to live a hustle and bustle life in New York City blogging for large makeup and fashion companies.

  1. What is your favorite trend at the moment?
  • If you follow me on any social media, you will not be surprised with this answer. I am so obsessed with chokers right now.  I love them with any and every outfit, dressy or casual.  They just add a hint of sass to any outfit and also create slimming effect.Picture1

This was such a fun post and bringing it to life was even more fun. We got together last week, did our makeup, took pictures, ate Bento (our fav!!!!), danced a little, took more pictures and just had a blast being the girly girls we are. I can’t wait to do it again. We have a couple more collaboration ideas, so if you enjoyed this post let us know what you think about doing more. I know we are super excited about them!

Don’t forget to follow both of us on Instagram ~

We love making new friends!
