Victoria Emerson Design Collab Pt. 2

Hi everyone! Happy Monday – I hope everyone had a great weekend, I literally did NOTHING and it felt amazing. Saturday, my fiancé wasn’t feeling well and we spent the afternoon/night on the couch watching movies and I have to admit… I fell asleep at 9! It felt great, and today I have been cleaning & blogging all day. 🙂

I had the opportunity to collaborate with Victoria Emerson Designs and they outdid themselves yet again!! It doesn’t matter what items I pick, I know they will be the cutest, most stylish pieces. I received a variety of necklaces, bracelets, and pair of diamond studs. Below are a few photos of their designs and the links of the products – they have a great collection and you definitely need to check out of their website — HERE.

ShopStevie Adorable Peplum (Collab)

White Denim / Similar // Steve Madden Heels // Kate Spade Handbag

You guys – the minute I laid my eyes on ShopStevie, I fell in love (Sorry Lane)! They have the cutest, trendiest clothes for a reasonable price. How it works is anyone can sign up to be a rep for these super cute clothes, so I had the opportunity to collaborate with Stacey, a rep for ShopStevie, and she is based out of Utah. Once I was able to speak with Stacey and learn all about this company, I became obsessed. If anyone loves their clothes just as much as me, you have the opportunity to host your own ShopStevie party – just get in touch with Stacey (I linked her store website above) and see how it works. Her instagram is also –> here.

Now for the peplum top, I received a Small and it fits perfectly, I love how it is super flowy and it has the small ruffles on the neckline and your wrists. Unfortunately, this blouse is sold out on her website – she actually had to order more after I posted this top on Instagram the first time. It is the perfect color for spring and you can wear it to work or out on date night. It is versatile either way.

So for the good news – Stacey was so sweet she wanted to offer all of you 15% off with the discount code FORTHELOVEOFCOFFEY. I just checked her website, and there are super hot items right now that usually go super fast. So don’t wait, shop now!

Yellow & Bright

Yellow Dress / Similar / Similar // Nude Ankle Strap Heels

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone had a great weekend – as for mine, it was very laid back and relaxing with close friends and family which is exactly what I needed.

Make Me Chic was so kind to send me this adorable, bright yellow dress that would be the perfect Easter dress. I chose an XS and so glad I did, because it fit perfectly everywhere but was already a little too long. Can we just talk about these sleeves for a second?! The entire time I was shooting this outfit – in my head I was singing, “I like big sleeves and I cannot lie.” Hahahahah! It’s so true though – bell sleeves are so on trend right now and these sleeves specifically are such a huge statement for this dress. You’ll definitely be noticed! The shoes I styled with this dress are Sam Edelman, but I’m not sure if the heels were discontinued because I can’t find them anywhere to link for you so I linked a similar nude, ankle strap heel that were less than $25 from the Red Dress Boutique. Love a stylish, inexpensive find! The necklace I paired with the outfit is from Victoria Emerson Designs and I did not link it because I will be doing a blog post on them the first week of April so keep an eye out for that one. 🙂

That is all I have for you tonight, y’all. I hope everyone has a great week at work or on spring break… whatever the week brings. Much love!

Olive u Jumpsuit

Olive Jumpsuit // Sam Edelman Heels // Tory Burch Wristlet

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday aka Hump Day! I am snuggled up on the couch drinking wine, watching How I Met Your Mother (my guilty pleasure, thx Tanner!!) and just finished eating my lettuce wraps. NomNom! I hope your night is going just as well!

This olive jumpsuit is by GB by Gianni Bini from Dillards and it fits like a glove! My friend made me try it on, even though I didn’t want too because I knew if I fit well I would fall in love. Well guys… I fell in love and bought it. The slide slits make it even more edgy and sassy. I linked all of the products above so you can shop from those links. Don’t forget on Instagram you can screenshot my photos and if you have the Liketoknow. It app, all the deets will pop up so you don’t have to receive those emails.

I hope everyone has a great rest of your week! My fiancé and I are taking engagement photos on Friday and I am STOKED!!! 🙂

Valentine’s Day Night In

Happy Monday loves! Who’s ready for the Bachelor tonight? I am, I can’t wait to see if Nick sends Corinne and Taylor both home… they left us hanging last week (or should I say every week?). I actually like Corinne in a “I want to be her friend” type way, not a “I want her to win Nick’s heart” type way. I guess we will find out in just a couple of hours…. Don’t let us down, Nick!!!

Until then, I have put together a few of my favorite things for a Night In Valentine’s Day style… scroll down to get the deets!

I know not everyone has fancy plans for the 14th especially because this year it’s on a Tuesday *insert eye roll*… so I wanted to give you a few options for the perfect night in that includes everything you need to have a peaceful and relaxing night. A lot of people would choose this over a night out anyways whether you’re in a relationship or not! I know I would… I love my nights in. 🙂 So here are a few things I have put together for you… and they are all available on Nordstrom. I’ll link everything down below…

  1. Chocolate Covered Strawberries – The number one thing I ask for every year… because who doesn’t like to sit on the couch and dive in to a huge bag of chocolate covered strawberries. Oh hey! They’re also half healthy too!
  2. Pink Jammies – Because you need some perfect pj’s for the perfect night in.
  3. Fresh Sugar Lemon Sugarbath – What’s a perfect night with a bath? Need I say more?
  4. XL Wine Glass – Red or White? You pick! Why not buy the XL glass so you don’t have to keep refilling? So far, perfect night indeed… we have chocolate strawberries, bath, wine, and cute jammies!
  5. Sugarfina Rose Petal Gummies – I just had to throw these in because I went overboard and bought so many when I was in NYC and loved all of them! I purchased the champagne gummies and they were delish!
  6. Baies candle – Every perfect bath needs the perfect candle!
  7. Sonix iPhone Case – I just threw this in here because it was super cute and I loved it! It’ll be sitting in my wish list… that’s for sure!

Anyone agree with me? Does that not sound like the perfect night? I hope everyone has a great Valentine’s Day whether you have plans or not. Unfortunately, it is on a Tuesday this year which sucks, but we just have to make the most of it. To the couples out there, don’t just think this is the only day you need to spoil your significant other. That should happen every day 🙂

Welcome back to For the Love of Coffey! I have to admit, it has been a fun and stress-free December not having to blog during this SUPER crazy, busy month. I thought about doing a post here & there, but I literally had no time at all. So I decided to take the entire month off to focus on my finals, graduate from college, and spend time with family and friends during the holidays all while working a full-time job. Talk about exhausting this month has been, but every bit of it has been amazing. So here’s a recap on 2016 – and some 2017 resolutions…

Wow! What a year it has been, 2016 definitely felt like the fastest year of my life. I feel like I was just writing my blog post { 2 0 1 6 } just the other week. Personally, this year was a great year for me, there’s been a couple ups and downs, but whose life is perfect?! Let’s take a walk down memory lane…

  • Rang in 2016 for the 7th time with the love of my life
  • Traveled to the beautiful city of Charleston with one of our favorite couples
  • Traveled to New York City for 8 days with 16 random girls from the University of Florida, who ended up becoming more like a fam… they are absolutely wonderful and I am so happy I had the opportunity to meet all of them (Oh and we got to touch the New Years Eve Ball- good luck maybe?!)
  • Turned the big “2-4”, can I just stay this age forever?! ahhhhh
  • Traveled to Los Angeles with my lover
  • Loving every minute of being engaged and wedding planning
  • Found the PERFECT venue for our wedding
  • Found the PERFECT dress for our wedding
  • Lots of pool/lake parties
  • Traveling to Palm Coast and vacationing at our venue for 4 days
  • Taking my last final ever
  • Bringing in 2017 with my fiancé ❤

Just a few noteworthy things that happened this year that made it the best year yet… I can’t wait to hit 100% on the wedding planning, but I have to admit I am enjoying every second of it. I am so happy now I get to focus mainly on it now that school is done. For. Good. Some resolutions for 2017 because, you know, the new year wouldn’t be right if we didn’t have any…

  • Staying calm while wedding planning & while getting closer to the wedding
  • Exercise more, eat healthy (less pizza & cookies, y’all)
  • Take care of my body, you only get one
  • Blog, blog, blog – I have so so so many ideas for you all, I can’t wait to share!!
  • Enjoy being engaged and don’t rush anything
  • Travel, travel, travel – we are still up in the air about our honeymoon so any recommendations would be great
  • SHOP less, SAVE more – words a blogger never want to hear
  • Be the best person I can be to everyone around me because no one is guaranteed tomorrow
Photo Compliments to Amy Renee Photography

SO CHEERS TO 2017!!!

May all your blessings be answered and dreams come true ❤ I am so so so excited to see what this year has in store for everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!!!

Hello to all my fashionista’s!

I hope everyone is having a fab week, I know I am because, hellllloooo, 3-DAY WORK WEEK  / 4-DAY WEEKEND *insert confetti emoji* !! This is my favorite time of year and one of the things I love most is spending the holidays with family and friends, and it makes me so happy the time is finally here. I’m not sure if everyone else is the same, but I get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of every day life, that I forget the simple things in life like being with the ones who matter most to you.

I love dressing up for the holidays, {DISCLAIMER: I love dressing up always !!} as I’m sure you do too, or else you wouldn’t be reading this. So, Thanksgiving is TOMORROW… Are you in a bind and have no idea what to wear? Are you sad because you had the cutest Fall outfit picked out, but Florida decides it wants to be 80 degrees? Do you have a blouse and just have NO idea how to style it? If you said yes to any of these questions, just keep reading! I am going to show you my top 4 outfits that are Florida proof and trendy! I am sure you have the items laying around your house so you can recreate these outfits, in a later post I plan to go into more details about the outfits regarding where I bought, how much, etc. So are you ready!?

Can’t go wrong with a little black & white!

All your favorite Fall neutrals in one look!

This sweater is so lightweight that it would be perfect for Florida weather.dsc_4762

One of my favorite looks!

I just noticed all of these looks are so neutral – but hey! it’s Fall, and that’s what were going for. LOL! I hope I give you some style inspo so you can gather up the PERFECT Thanksgiving outfit! I have lots of faith in you all, so don’t forget to post your look & mention me! 🙂

I won’t be blogging again until the weekend, so everyone enjoy their holiday and be safe if you are brave enough to Black Friday shop!

Green Cold Shoulder Sweater — MakeMeChic Collab

Happy Halloweeeeeen, friends!

Green Asymmetric Cold Shoulder Sweater // Dark Denim // Sam Edelman Pumps // Dual Stone Ring – 1/2 off right now

I partnered with MakeMeChic for this blog post, and they were sweet enough to send me this adorable sweater! I am obsessing over it right now, and have worn it multiple times. I’m really digging the asymmetrical one cold shoulder style, makes the sweater sexy and different imo. The material is actually really soft and not itchy at all. I’m always worried when I purchase or receive sweaters from online, because if I don’t like the material, you will not catch me wearing it.

Anyways, I hope everyone had a great weekend. It was a relaxing one for my fiancé and I which was nice 🙂 we watched the Gators kick Georgia’s butt and went to a Halloween party Saturday night as The Purge. My first Halloween in 24 years that I dressed up as something scary. Lol! Today we carved aka painted pumpkins, which might I add I enjoy 100% more!!!!

Guest Blogger ft. Tanner Mann

Hi beauties, I feel like this has been a Monday from, you know where. I am so not used to publishing on Monday’s so I have felt like I have been running around/hurrying home from work so I have time to perfect everything before I hit “publish”.

Nevertheless, I have been very excited to post this particular blog post since last week because I have collaborated with my soul sister/fellow blogger, Tanner Mann, author of “The Life of a Womann”. We came up with a set of “interview-like” questions to ask each other, so we could express ourselves and show you all why we love blogging, how we got started, etc. Below are Tanner’s answers — Also, don’t forget to head on over to The Life of a Womann to check out my answers!

Of course when { T W O } bloggers get together, we can’t go without a little photo sesh… even in the rain 😛

  1. Why did you start blogging?
  • I have always had such a love for beauty, makeup, and fashion. In high school I started watching makeup tutorials and completely fell in love with the media side of beauty.  Starting a blog was an outlet for my creativity and inspiration.  I love being able to share a new product that I just can’t live without or finding a deal that I know everyone else would enjoy!

  1. How much time do you spend on your blog a week?
  • Believe it or not, constructing a blog post is much more than sitting down and writing the words that come to mind. I have a journal that is specific to planning blog ideas. Once I have decided on the subject, I take the time to pick out an outfit for blog/Instagram pictures. Getting ready for pictures takes up the most time—and then finding a location and taking the pictures.  Sometimes a post even involves a bit of research.  With all of these aspects of blogging involved, I spend approximately 10-15 hours per week.

  1. What blogger/vlogger inspires you the most?
  • When it comes to makeup I am most inspired by Jaclyn Hill. She shares all of her beauty tips and tricks on her YouTube channel and blog.  When I am in a rut and just need a new idea, I always look to this beautiful soul to get my creative juices flowing.
  • My fashion icon is Desi Perkins! If you aren’t following her on all social media platforms, you should be. She is a makeup/fashion vlogger from L.A, who always pushes the limits and slays every outfit.

  1. Is blogging a profession for you or just a hobby?
  • As of now, blogging is a hobby. I work a full time job during the week and spend most of my time on the weekends blogging, I would love to one day dedicate all of my time to blogging and have the opportunity to make a career of it.

  1. What is the most challenging part about blogging?
  • Coming into blogging I thought this would be an extremely fun and easy process. I learned how wrong I was very quickly.  I think the most challenging part is Instagram/taking pictures.  Because I work a full time job, I don’t get to slay a stiletto heel every day, so I try to take most of my pictures on the weekend to last throughout the week.  When taking pictures, you have to find the perfect background, get the perfect angle, and find the perfect edit.  I am still training my husband on the angles.

  1. How did you come up with your blog name?
  • When choosing the name of my blog, I wanted something fun and chic that still incorporated my personality and what my platform was. Since most of my content is geared towards women and my last name is Mann, “The Life of a Womann” fit the part perfectly.  This actually came to me out of nowhere…that is when you know it is the one.

  1. In the future, where do you see yourself in the blogging world?
  • My goal and dream is to start a beauty YouTube channel and start producing vlogs, while still blogging weekly. I love everything about the blogging/vlogging world and would love to live a hustle and bustle life in New York City blogging for large makeup and fashion companies.

  1. What is your favorite trend at the moment?
  • If you follow me on any social media, you will not be surprised with this answer. I am so obsessed with chokers right now.  I love them with any and every outfit, dressy or casual.  They just add a hint of sass to any outfit and also create slimming effect.Picture1

This was such a fun post and bringing it to life was even more fun. We got together last week, did our makeup, took pictures, ate Bento (our fav!!!!), danced a little, took more pictures and just had a blast being the girly girls we are. I can’t wait to do it again. We have a couple more collaboration ideas, so if you enjoyed this post let us know what you think about doing more. I know we are super excited about them!

Don’t forget to follow both of us on Instagram ~

We love making new friends!
